Clasps used for bead bracelet and necklace restringing

A brief review of bracelet and necklace restringing clasps used by Angela Smith Jewellery.

I am often asked what clasps I use when restringing broken bead bracelets and necklaces for my customers.

So to help with this I have taken photos of the standard clasps I use for most of my jewellery restringings and most of my new jewellery makes too.

I give the option of silver, gold or black plated clasps or sterling silver clasps but others are available if these aren't deemed suitable.

If you have a bead bracelet or necklace that has broken please think twice about throwing it away, I provide a jewellery restringing service so you can wear your treasured items of jewellery again.

I do not use elastic cord as it breaks too so any elastic bracelets that I am sent will be restrung on jewellery thread and will have a clasp added.
