About

Handmade bead Jewellery.

I am a bead jewellery designer maker, I have been making beaded jewellery for almost thirty years now. My beading adventure started with a kit to make six pairs of earrings and I still get as excited about making jewellery today as I did back then.

I am captivated by beads and their colours and I am constantly exploring new ways to use the huge variety of beads in my collection including semi- precious beads, freshwater pearls and a multitude of glass beads. I will also happily re-use beads from items of jewellery found in charity shops and on occasions I have been known to make my own beads, recycling or repurposing unwanted materials - please see my Eco-aware jewellery in my shop.

Much of my work nowadays involves knitting needles or crochet hooks so you will discover a large range of knitted wire and bead jewellery and crocheted jewellery when you visit my shop.

As well as generic items of bead jewellery I also  provide alternative, unique and original jewellery not found in High Street stores. Most of my pieces are one off items, so the majority of the jewellery listed in my shop is not available from my stall at events, although I am happy to bring items of jewellery along to a fair or market if requested.

You will find that most of my jewellery can be worn as every day wear, although there are plenty of items that would add something a bit different for a special event.

I also provide jewellery making workshops and a jewellery repair/restringing service too.

I am happy to discuss commissions, so if you cannot find exactly what you are looking for please contact me.
